January always seems like such a long month to me, but this year it came and went like that! Travis started playing on a basketball team through Brea Community Center. He has loved every minute of it! He has looked forward to playing for the last month and a half. He is a good little player for only being 3 (the bracket was for age 4-6)! So needless to say, we have been spending our Saturdays at the gym. It's been fun and Tyler has also loved it. In fact, one of his favorite words to say is "Baaball." It is darling! I am sure he'll be playing one day too!

Travis' coach is at the top right....his name is coach Eric. Travis is a good little shooter (thanks to his dad for all of the practice) and he has learned some good defense!

January 15th--Crazy huh? Swimming in January! Well it really was a beautiful day.... in the 80's. Clayton and Hailey came down for a visit and wanted to test out the pool. So of coarse, that meant Travis and Tyler trying it too. The water was so cold but the minute you got out of the water, it was instantly warm! I was still to chicken to go in though!

January 17th--Grandma Murdock heard about this fun place for kids in Irvine called Pretend City! We took the boys and had so much fun! They had a pretend police and fire station, post office, beach, grocery store, library, farm, Italian restaurant, houses and the best part of ALL? THE CURIOUS GEORGE EXHIBIT! The kids could run around and pretty much play and touch anything. It was great! They had lots of fun. Thanks Grandma Murdock!

January 24th--This is Tyler's favorite thing to do! He loves to throw out the DVD's as fast as he can!
January 28th--Scott's last day of student teaching! We have finally made it! Scott and I have waited so long for this day. I am so proud of him and am grateful for all of his hard work. We so appreciated his master teachers who helped him so much!
January 30th--Watching cartoons with Dad!
