HALLOWEEN!

HALLOWEEN 2008

So I am finally posting our halloween pictures! I had to take my recertification board exams and so I have been spending the last few months studying away. This was Travis' favorite halloween decoration. He carried it around saying "House"--trying to say Halloween!


We went with Grandma and Grandpa Murdock and aunt Lacey to the pumpkin patch. Travis absolutely loved it!

There was a little petting zoo with goats, rabbits, sheep and a big tortoise. Travis loved seeing and petting the animals!

We carved pumpkins the night before halloween. Travis thought it was great!

Here is Travis' costume! He was a little bat for halloween. We took this just before our ward halloween party. Unfortunately we did not get any pictures halloween night but our camera broke! We spent halloween night with Grandma and Grandpa Clark and Clayton and Hailey. Travis went trick or treating and even made it through one short street! It was lots of fun. We ate chilli, cornbread, donuts, apple cider and sat around my parents fire pit outside while we passed out candy! We had a fun time!

Trip to Cedar City

August 23-24, 2008 All of the cousins after Rori's baby blessing (at Mike and Beth's house). Rori looked so sweet on her big day. Mike and Beth had a nice luncheon at their house after the blessing!

Here we come...DISNEYLAND!

August 18th, 2008 So Soctt and I splurged and decided to buy annual passes to Disneyland. We took Travis for the first time. He LOVED it! He got his little badge that says "My first visit." We met up with Jeremy and Brieann and Clayton and Hailey there. It was lots of fun!Scott got a churro for Travis to try!

Birthday Party!

July 26th, 2008Surprise! How could I forget to blog Grandma Rosell's 80th Birthday Party! All of the aunts, uncles and cousins that could make it met up at Johnny Carino's to surprise Grandma for her birthday. She was totally surprised and we all had such a great time!We love you Grandma Rosell!

Big Bear Trip!

August 2008We decided to take a little trip to Big Bear this summer with some friends. We had such a great time! I hadn't been to Big Bear in so many years. We went down the alpine slides there. It was alot of fun. I actually had to sneak Travis on the slides since he is not 2 yet and he loved it!

Happy 4th of July!

July 4, 2008 We spent the 4th of July in Cedar City with Grandma and Grandpa Clark! It was lots of fun to see all of the cousins. We all stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We had a great time! Cara and Jason blessed the little twins this same weekend as well!
We got up early to watch the Cedar City 4th of July parade down main street.
Travis caught a frisbee at the parade!Me and Travis with Grandpa Clark and cousin Nora watching the floats!All the cousins went swimming!Travis had his first little haircut by Grandpa Clark!We had a wonderful BBQ, made homemade icecream and lit sparklers in front of Grandma and Grandpa's house! Grandma is holding Avery (one of Cara's little twins) and Alissa and little Nora also enjoyed the sparklers!

Mike and Clayton put on a little firework show later that night in front of Grandma and Grandpa Clark's house. Travis absolutely loved watching the fireworks. He kept pointing at them and saying "WOW!" Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Clark for such a fun time.

Murdock Family Reunion

June 5-8, 2008We had a Murdock Family Reunion in Antimony, Utah at the Rockin' R Ranch! It was so much fun. The Lodge was beautiful and there were so many fun things to do there. It was fun to see Aunt Lee, Kathy, Gary, Aunt Sharlene and Uncle Gene!

We had alot of fun horseback riding. The country side was gorgeous!

Travis loved the animals! He had such a great time roaming around the ranch.

Grandma and Grandpa Murdock brought their quads to the ranch. We had alot of fun riding. It was my first time ever getting on a quad! Scott had to teach me all the ropes.
We got to try archery while at the ranch. It was pretty fun! Travis had a great time playing with the bow!Swinging on the big swing!

We went on a little hay ride through the little town of Antimony. It was lots of fun! We had such a fun reunion--thanks to Grandma Murdock for getting all the plans together. Hope we get to do this again soon!
