JULY 2011
July was a fun month but very busy! We took a little family trip up to Salt Lake City, went to Cedar City for the 4th of July, had fun visiting Great Grandma Rosell for our traditional Sunday night chocolate cake and visit with the cousins, had a great picnic in the park with Grandma and Grandpa Murdock and cousins, enjoyed watching Travis at swimming lessons while hanging out with good friends, took a midnight dip in Great Grandma's pool and MOVED TO CEDAR CITY! I can't believe we did this all in one month. It's been great and we have made a lot of fun memories! I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!

While on our way up to SLC for a family trip, we stopped by to see Great Grandpa Black. This was the boys first time meeting him and it was special! Scott and I hadn't even seen him in several years. It was great to see Grandpa again!
Riding TRAX to downtown SLC! The boys loved riding the train!
Scott and I were able to do a session in the SLC temple. It was our first time doing a session there and it was really special.....I love you Scott!
The boys hanging out in our hotel!
Hogle Zoo in SLC! The kids got to go to the bird show, ride on the carousel, visit all the animals, and hang out with the cousins!

One of the highlights of the trip was swimming at the hotel. The kids loved it! At 5 pm everyday the hotel served fresh warm cookies. The kids LOVED to go for cookies after swimming!
Hanging out at the SLC temple visitor center.
Riding TRAX with the cousins!
Tyler and Avery playing at the kids center in the Church History Museum!
Tyler enjoying an ice-cream cone at McDonalds!
Visiting the Conference Center. It was magnificent!
The Salt Lake Temple and the Tabernacle!
Our family at the Beehive House (one of Brigham Young's home)!
Inside the Brigham Young home. Tyler hanging out with cousin Anna!
Travis running in the fountains at the shopping center in downtown SLC!
Rice-Eccles stadium...where the SLC olympics were held in 2002 and the University of Utah football team plays!
Taking a ride on a pedal boat at Liberty Park! It was sooooo hot and me being 5 months pregnant didn't help!
Grandma Clark let the kids go on the old fashion rides at Liberty Park. They LOVED it!
The 4th of July parade in Cedar City. It is such a fun parade and the kids LOVE running for candy! After the parade, we always go to the main street park for some fun and the kids love to go on a few rides and bounce houses!
Enjoying smores and doing fireworks on the 4th of July!
Lots of fun on the 4th of July! My brothers bought these huge fireworks this year that light up in the sky (they were legal in Utah this year). I wish I would've gotten pictures because they were awesome and the kids loved it!
The boys hanging out on the 4th of July!
All of the cousins lined up for the firework show!
Travis and Tyler ready for church! Travis is a sunbeam and Tyler goes to nursery. They love going to church!
One of our Sunday night traditions is going to Grandma Rosell's house for chocolate cake. This was our last Sunday night visiting with Grandma and the cousins before we moved to Cedar City! The cousins brought over a cotton candy machine (still had it from Shannon's wedding) and we got to have all the cotton candy and slushies as we wanted! YUM! Even our friend Brian came over for the festivities!
We love you Grandma Rosell!
Grandma and Grandpa Murdock planned a fun picnic in the park before we moved! They got some KFC which was YUMMY and we played ball and frisbee and just hung out at Tri-City Park together. It was lots of fun and we were all together!!
Travis' first official swim lessons at Fullerton College!
He loved every minute of swim lessons and was excited to go everyday. He did a great job for his first time and wasn't even nervous!
One of the most fun parts of swim lessons was hanging out with our friends (April, Noelani and Meagan) while the kids swam!
Travis jumping off the diving board his last day of swim lessons. Yay Travis!
Tyler just chillin at swim lessons! Maybe next year will be his turn!
Grandma Murdock and Uncle John came the last day of swim lessons to watch Travis. Travis got a little award and treat and was just thrilled! What a fun time!
Travis taking his last swim in Grandma Rosell's pool and it was like at 10 or 11 pm!
Our "midnight" dip in the pool! We'll miss swimming there!
WE MOVED! We are here in Cedar City and temporarily staying at my parents house! It is so nice and we feel blessed to be here. Thank you mom and dad for letting us stay! Scott starts his new teaching job soon in St. George and is excited! Now we are waiting for our new adventures to begin!!!!!
