AUGUST 2011
In August we did some fun things since dad had not started back to work yet! My mom and dad were still in Cedar City for the summer and our friends from the Czech Republic (Robert and Marketa) came to visit. We traveled around Southern Utah and had a great time! We are enjoying our time here and are excited to be here!

Our first stop was the Parowan Gap. There are some really neat Indian petroglyphs there and the boys loved hiking around. Tyler was thrilled to be able to throw as many rocks as he wanted!
Travis loved hiking around!
Our family next to some Indian petroglyphs.

Grandma Clark and Tyler
The boys followed dad everywhere!
Us standing in the Gap!
Our trip to Zion National Park with Robert and Marketa. It was beautiful! We also got to shop around Springdale (the city as you enter Zions) . It was lots of fun.....Scott almost dared to try an Elk burger there but just couldn't do it in the end!
Grafton Ghost Town....This was their little cemetery and many of them were killed in the 1860's by Indians!
Visiting Grafton Ghost Town with Grandma Clark. The buildings were still well preserved. The house we are standing in front of had a bat inside of it, scaring Travis to death!
Kolob Canyon
Ready for church! The boys love primary even in Cedar City!
Tyler loves to watch Franklin on his little DVD player!
Travis' first day of preschool in St. George! His teachers are Mrs. Julie and Grandma Smith. He goes 2 days a week and loves it! His cousin Halie (well 2nd cousin) is in his class and they have lots of fun together! For the month of August they learned all of their shapes. Travis has done great! We love you and are proud of you Travis!
Swimming with the cousins (Mike, Rori and Sarah) at the Cedar City Aquatic Center! We bought a month pass and the kids love it! There are several slides and fountains and it is shallow enough that the kids can run all around. It's lots of fun!!!

Tyler is the cutest little boy. Always making funny faces and smiling. And I CANNOT believe their height difference? Their sunday best pictures cracks me up. They look so much different in age but really it is just Travis' height! They look so great and so happy and healthy.
