Announcing Our New Baby........
Born November 23rd at 12:28 pm
Tyler Clark Murdock
6 lbs 15 oz 20 in

One of the sweetest experiences is having a new baby. I waited and waited for this day. I went into labor early Monday morning (November 23rd) at about 2:30 am. We called uncle Clayton to come watch Travis while waiting for my parents and uncle John to drive down. I was admitted to the hospital at about 5 am, got my epidural and was feeling great until I was dilated to about a 9 and the epidural started to ware off on my right side. I had pain for about 20 min only before it was time to push. Tyler was born about 10 min later at 12:28 pm. It was such a wonderful experience!
Scott and I think Tyler looks just like Travis when he was born!
My mom and dad with Tyler.
Great Grandma Rosell with Tyler. Our little family minus Travis. Unfortunately Travis was unable to come up to the hospital room due to concerns of the H1N1 virus. They would not allow any children under age 14 up to the delivery rooms so Travis had to wait until the following day to see Tyler. I sure did miss my little Travis while I was in the hospital!
We made it home on Tuesday November 24th! Tyler brought a little present to Travis (the little fire truck he is holding)! My mom and dad also greeted us and had made this little sign to put in our window!
Travis finally got to hold Tyler.
Sweet little Tyler!
Tyler coming to see Grandma and Grandpa Murdock and Aunt Lacey. Lacey was able to come to the hospital to see Tyler but Grandma and Grandpa Murdock were in Utah for Thanksgiving week. We went to visit when they got home!
Tyler about 1 week old! He is such a sweet baby. I am just enjoying him every minute!

THANKSGIVING 2009

We spent Thanksgiving week at Grandma and Grandpa Clark's house. We actually went up the night of November 24th (after getting discharged from the hospital)! Travis had fun with his cousins playing in the leaves!
Aunt Cara brought a little craft for the kids to make. They made these adorable turkey hats and the kids wore them all day!If you can believe it we all ate at the same table! We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks mom and dad!

Awaiting our new baby.......
We are getting so excited for our new baby to come. I will have to post some pictures soon of Travis' and the new baby's bedroom. We have been getting little things ready and it's been alot of fun! Travis is getting excited. I am not sure if he really understands all the change that will take place soon but he has informed me that he will get the baby dressed, give him a bath, put his clothes on and play race cars and basketball with the new baby. Travis often comes up to me and will put his little hand on my stomach or his ear up to my stomach and each time says "Mama he is playing instruments in there." It's super cute. I have only 3-4 more weeks of work left and am getting excited to be home with the boys for a couple of months. Scott is near the end of his last semester at CSUF. I guess it is not technically his last semester there as he will start the teacher credential program at CSUF in January. But, he is thrilled to be done with his math major! We'll keep you posted on the new baby!!!

HAPPY FALL 2009
Travis loves the park! He actually climbed up this tree all by himself!
Helping mom make HALLOWEEN sugar cookies.
We made homemade cinnamon rolls for general conference. They were quite delicious if I might say so myself!
Travis was thrilled to decorate the house for halloween. We had a fun time!
At the pumpkin patch in Placentia!
Having fun in the petting zoo at the pumpkin patch!
Travis' first pony ride at the pumpkin patch!
Jumping in the jumper at the patch. He loved it so much Scott and I had such a hard time getting him out!
My fabulous cousin Michelle hosted a family HALLOWEEN party/baby shower for Kim at her house. It was so fun! She made homemade chicken enchiladas, bean dip, rice, homemade rootbeer and tons of halloween treats. All the kids ran around and had such a good time. We also got to chat with my cousin Josh who is overseas with the army. It was so cool to talk to him over the computer. Thanks Michelle and everyone for such a fun party!
So Grandma and Grandpa Murdock got this little car for the grandkids to drive. Travis absolutely loved it (he especially loves wearing the helmet)! He had a little trouble steering the car but he had so much fun in his own little car!

SUMMER FUN

We have had such a GREAT summer! Other than the family reunions to Utah and Big Bear, here are a few fun things we've done this summer!

Newport Beach with Grandma Clark and the cousins!
Ringling Brothers Circus at the Honda Center!
Eating lots and lots of popsicles!
Swimming at Grandma Rosell's pool!

Bowling--this was Travis' first time and he loved it!
Going to many Angels games and eating hot dogs and Nachos at the games!
Going to Disneyland!
Favorite ride is Pirates of the Carribean!
And how could I forget playing BASKETBALL with dad? Travis even tries to wear Scott's basketball shoes around the house!

And finally....our good friends Erin, Mike, and Parker came down to visit this summer! My camera was broken and I was not able to get any pictures, but we enjoyed going to the Aquarium of the Pacific, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and the Angels game! It was soooo fun to see them!

Rosell Family Reunion

JULY 2009
When we were little kids, most summers the Rosell family would meet together in Big Bear for a family reunion. We always had so much fun together and I still have great memories with the cousins at the cabins. We have all not gone to Big Bear for many many years but this summer Aunt Bronwyn put together a reunion once again in Big Bear. It was soooo much fun! I wish I would have taken more pictures than I did to capture every moment, but here are a few pictures from the Rosell Family Reunion!

Our cabin--yes the entire Clark family stayed in one cabin and it was a blast!
Our family picture!

Shopping in downtown Big Bear!

Swimming at the cabins!

Scott and Travis on the Alpine slides!
Travis and Grace with Grandma Rosell--watching everyone come down the Alpine slides!

Clayton and Travis driving the pontoon boat!
Having fun on the pontoons at Big Bear Lake!
Travis had a blast on the pontoons--he even went swimming in the Lake!
The big hit was playing Rock Band when all the little kids went to bed!

Thanks Aunt Bronwyn for such a fun reunion!

CLARK FAMILY REUNION

July 9th-12th

We had our first Clark Family Reunion in Utah since Grandma Clark passed away. My sister Alissa planned the entire reunion and did a great job! It was alot of fun and it was so great to see all of our cousins, aunts and uncles. And, for some strange reason I know grandma and grandpa Clark were with us all.

The reunion started on a Thursday night. All the kids made a little craft--they decorated little foam visors and loved it!
The night was kicked off with a family gathering at my parent's house. We made s'mores, visited and caught up on everyone's lives. This was Travis' first time roasting a marsh mellow!
Here is his finished s'more! He loved it and wanted seconds.

Grandma Clark with Travis, Aunt Annette with cousin Mike.
Friday morning we all went on a family hike to Cascade Falls. Here are all the cousins with their sticks ready for the hike!
Here is a picture of Cascade Falls. It was absolutely beautiful!
Our family picture on the hike!
Hanging out watching "The Dinosaur Movie." The kids wanted to watch this movie every second. They loved it! Left to Right: Uncle John, Grace, Nora, Travis, Scott.
Having fun swimming with Grace!

THANKS ALISSA for such a fun reunion!
