Snow trip to Brianhead, UtahCara and Jason planned a fun snow trip to Brianhead for our family over Presidents weekend! We all had such a good time. Jason was able to get this awesome cabin for our entire family for the weekend. I wish I had gotten a picture of it. It was huge! The cabin had 7 bedrooms, several bathrooms, a huge game/TV room, arcades, and a hot tub. The cool thing was the ski lift was right next to the cabin. Mike, Scott, Clayton and Hailey all went snowboarding. It was Scott's first time ever snowboarding and he loved it....thanks to my brothers and Hailey for being patient and teaching him! The rest of us hung out at the cabin and did a lot of sledding. Cara planned all the food and made such delicious meals. It was just so much fun to all be together!
My dad, Tyler (my baby) and Cara (my sister).
Travis, Mike and Camden making snow angels.
Travis and Scott sledding. Needless to say Travis was afraid! There was a lot of snow there--it went up to my thighs when I stepped in!
My dad pulled Tyler all around on this little sled. It was so cute!
My mom even went sledding!
My mom and dad with Tyler.
Check out these icicles. These were hanging off of the cabin!

Tyler loves to smile! It's been such a joy having him.Our little boys!

SOME FUN PICTURES!!The Cahills (friends from our old ward) came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. We went down to Oceanside with them to see their parent's beach house that they had rented. We had lots of fun walking down the pier, visiting, and eating! Even though it was cold, we let Travis play in the sand and water and he had a ball! He was an absolute sandy mess when we got home! This was Tyler's first time to the beach. We had so much fun!
Sweet little Tyler!Tyler turned 2 months on the 23rd! At his doctors appointment he weighed 11 lbs 1 oz (35%) and was 24 inches (85%). He is growing so big! He also got his 2 month shots and did such a good job. I braved it out and even had to take Travis with me. Travis kept saying, "Don't cry Tyler, it's okay!" It was so cute!

The boys in their PJ's. Travis can't wait for Tyler to be able to play with him!
So, I decided to post pictures of the boy's room. I think the room is finally done. I wish we could paint or do something a little more but since we are still in an apartment we are not able to. I still think it turned out cute though! Here is Travis' bed.
Here is the dresser they share. My mom found the darling little basketball knobs for the dresser and the little bat that hangs on the wall. So cute!
Here is Tyler's little crib. We used the same bedding that Travis used when he was a baby. Scott actually painted Tyler's name and I worked on the pictures of Tyler!
Here is the whole wall! I know the little shelf doesn't really match Tyler's stuff (it's more for Travis) but it was the only place it would fit!

IT'S BASKETBALL TIME!!
I know these pictures are a little blurry but I had to post them anyways! We are in full basketball swing at our house. Between Scott's high school team he coaches, the young mens ward team that he also coaches and the ward's team that he plays on, there is always a game we are running off to. Travis absolutely LOVES it and that is an understatement! He tells us all the time.. "I got to go coach basketball." It is so cute! When he gets to go to practice with Scott he gets so excited. We go to most games (me and the boys) and Travis will sit on the bleachers (usually holding a basketball) and watch the game. When the buzzer goes off for a time out or half time, he is on the court with the ball trying to dribble and shoot. It is so cute. Scott thinks he smells a scholarship coming!! Just kidding!!

TYLER'S BABY BLESSINGTyler was blessed on January 3rd! It was such a special day. Tyler is growing so fast and is such a sweet little baby. It's been so much fun to watch him grow. It is tradition in our family for my parents to give the baby a little baby ring on their blessing day. Tyler wore this for his blessing (sorry we did not get a picture of it!). Great Grandma Rosell gives the little baby boys a tie tack for their blessing. We pinned it on Tyler's little outfit for his blessing day. It was so cute!

This is all of the family that was able to make it to Tyler's blessing. Thanks everyone for coming far and near to celebrate this special day with us!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009
We had such a fun holiday season! It was especially fun having our new baby Tyler here with us! Travis was actually able to understand more about Christmas and was so excited for Santa to come. He LOVED looking at all the Christmas lights, decorating, and making christmas treats. It was especially fun for me since I have been home on maternity leave this holiday season.Getting our Christmas tree!
Visiting Santa Claus! Travis loved seeing Santa. The first thing he told Santa he wanted was a candy cane (those were sitting in a basket next to Santa). That was quickly followed by "I want a scooter!" Tyler slept the entire time in Santa's arms.
Travis attempting to hold Tyler. It was so cute!
Our family Christmas picture.
Christmas eve at the Murdocks!
Tyler holding cousin Kylee! They had so much fun together. Travis wanted to touch her every minute and Kylee kept trying to kiss Travis. It was so cute!

Our Apartment. Looks like Santa made his visit!

Riding his new scooter Christmas day!
The boys with Grandma Murdock on Christmas night.
Happy New Years! We went to Grandma Rosell's annual New Years Eve party! It was alot of fun to see all of the cousins and eat lots of yummy treats. Travis loved the party hats, the noise makers and cramming into the living room with everyone dancing and singing to the song "Enjoy Yourself!"

Announcing Our New Baby........
Born November 23rd at 12:28 pm
Tyler Clark Murdock
6 lbs 15 oz 20 inOne of the sweetest experiences is having a new baby. I waited and waited for this day. I went into labor early Monday morning (November 23rd) at about 2:30 am. We called uncle Clayton to come watch Travis while waiting for my parents and uncle John to drive down. I was admitted to the hospital at about 5 am, got my epidural and was feeling great until I was dilated to about a 9 and the epidural started to ware off on my right side. I had pain for about 20 min only before it was time to push. Tyler was born about 10 min later at 12:28 pm. It was such a wonderful experience!
Scott and I think Tyler looks just like Travis when he was born!My mom and dad with Tyler.
Great Grandma Rosell with Tyler.
Our little family minus Travis. Unfortunately Travis was unable to come up to the hospital room due to concerns of the H1N1 virus. They would not allow any children under age 14 up to the delivery rooms so Travis had to wait until the following day to see Tyler. I sure did miss my little Travis while I was in the hospital!
We made it home on Tuesday November 24th! Tyler brought a little present to Travis (the little fire truck he is holding)! My mom and dad also greeted us and had made this little sign to put in our window!
Travis finally got to hold Tyler.
Sweet little Tyler!
Tyler coming to see Grandma and Grandpa Murdock and Aunt Lacey. Lacey was able to come to the hospital to see Tyler but Grandma and Grandpa Murdock were in Utah for Thanksgiving week. We went to visit when they got home!
Tyler about 1 week old! He is such a sweet baby. I am just enjoying him every minute!
THANKSGIVING 2009We spent Thanksgiving week at Grandma and Grandpa Clark's house. We actually went up the night of November 24th (after getting discharged from the hospital)! Travis had fun with his cousins playing in the leaves!
Aunt Cara brought a little craft for the kids to make. They made these adorable turkey hats and the kids wore them all day!
If you can believe it we all ate at the same table! We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks mom and dad!
